Cheder at the Ohel has a doctor visit in honor of the Rambam Yartzeit.
In honor of Chof Teves, the yartzeit of the Rambam, Cheder at the Ohel parent and cardiologist, Dr. David Schechter came to Cheder to explain to the younger division how the human heart works.
He brought a model of the human heart and connected it to what the Alter Rebbe writes in the Tanya about the heart. Some of the boys got to use the blood pressure machine.
All the boys had a chance to use a stethoscope to listen to their own heart beat. It was a great opportunity to have a glimpse of the complexity of Hashem’s creation…..us.
