For the first time in Washington DC, a Chanukah experience was held in one of the city’s most popular shopping centers along Connecticut Avenue. Over 1500 people participated in crafts, games, entertainment, a Chanukah Theater, and a Chanukah Superstore.
The hands-on educational experience was organized by Mrs. Nechama Shemtov, and shluchos ‘interns’ Rochel Weiner and Chaya Friedman .
Rabbi Yudi and Rivky Steiner, CHABAD GW – Lubavitch Jewish Student Center, took advantage of the Winter Break on campus to lend support to the success.
