Beis Menachem of Manchester, UK once again organized a successful Yom Limud for those that had the day off on the Bank Holiday on Dec. 25th with inspiring and thought-provoking shiurim.
The day began with a Shiur by Rabbi Moshe Wolberg on the Maamer Vayechi Yaakov, Yud Alef Teves 5727 followed by Shacharis.
During a bagel breakfast complete with scrambled eggs, Rabbi Leizer Eidelman gave an informal Halocha Shiur on food and Muktza on Shabbos.
After breakfast, Rabbi Yossi Chazan gave a shiur on the inyan of Limud HaTorah Lishma. This was followed by a shiur by Rabbi Yisroel Friedman, Rov of the Chortkover Kloiz in Manchester on the topic of Ro’im es ha’nishma and Istakel Be’orayso.
Rabbi Rachamim Goodman gave a Shiur on practical Shechita including the preparation of the chalaf, the shechita, bedika and melicha of a chicken.
The program ended with Mincha.
