Dance Party Crown Heights Debut

The group titled “The Chassidic House Party” or “The CHP” is making their debut performance this Motzei Shabbos with the first ever “Dance Party” in Crown Heights – with a special guest appearance by “Jewish Star” winner, Choni Goldman.

For the first time ever, Crown Heights is about to experience “The Chassidic House Party.” Known for short as “The CHP,” this jam-band style, all-live music group is ready to completely change the common perception of a night out in the shechuna.

The group of young men that make up the CHP are all current students or alumni from the Yeshiva Tiferes Bachurim in Morristown, NJ. Tired of hearing that there is not enough “fun and kosher” stuff to do in Crown Heights, the group has decided to put that complaint to rest with an event designed to the highest standards of both musical skill and Chassidishkeit.

The 2012 “Jewish Star” winner, Choni Goldman, will also be joining the CHP for a few numbers throughout the course of the evening as a special guest appearance. “Choni is really a musician. He’s creative, intuitive, and authentic, which is a perfect match for our band and we’re excited to be working with him,” said Daniel Berry, the keyboardist of the CHP.

With such an exciting music line-up added to the promise of having a Kosher mechitza for the event, the CHP is expecting a huge turnout from the young men and women of Crown Heights looking for a chance to really dance after lighting their first Chanukah lights of the year.
