I agree and I want to add that it is also important, while cleaning corners, clean out rainwater drainage. Otherwise, thawed water will have nowhere to go.
Bochurim?! What on earth is it their responsibility?! They should be sitting and learning, in times of old the Baalei batim would be the ones running to clean the path for the bochurim. Now bochurim are looked at like slaves?
Perhaps you should offer to help a struggling store owner
I hope by Monday Morning the store owners would shovel or have someone clean the front of there stores so some people can walk so they can get to work

Maybe pay the bochurim $30 the hour then maybe they’ll consider it?!

It would sure be nice if store owners would have someone shovel in front of their stores and maybe bocherim could follow the example of those on Utica Avenue and walk around with shovels to clean the corners. Otherwise it will be a miracle if no one hurts themselves crossing from one corner to the next not to mention the subway. And storeowners beware this is definitely a ticket. Seriously it wouldn’t hurt if a few or more bocherim would take a shovel in hand and help out both on the corners and the subways. Imagine what an easy kiddush… Read more »
