Congresswoman Yvette Clarke paid a visit to the Jewish Children’s Museum in Crown Heights this week.
The Congresswoman met with Mrs. Devorah Halberstam, Foundation and Governmental Services, Rabbi Yerachmiel Benjaminson, Executive Director and Rabbi Sholom Ber Baumgarten, Director of Visitors Services.
Congresswoman Clarke, who sits on Homeland Security and Small Business Congressional Committees had a chance to discuss Mrs. Halberstam’s involvement with FBI and Law Enforcement Agencies.
Many other issues of concern to the Jewish community at large were examined.
The congresswoman who had visited the museum on previous occasions had a chance to view the new 4th floor exhibits. Congresswoman Clarke expressed her amazement at the accomplishments and the educational benefit the museum provides for such a diverse group of visitors.
The congresswoman was accompanied by Eli Slavin, her Community Liaison.
