A sold-out crowd attended a concert benefiting the Makor care and services network on Sunday evening at the Tilles Center in Brookville, Long Island.
The concert titled “Jewish Music Hall of Fame” took the audience on a nostalgic journey of 60 years of Jewish music, and featured Jewish music legends and classics from the 1960’s until today.
The show, which was produced by the famed Shea Mendelowitz with music by the renowned conductor Yisroel Lamm concluded with a tribute to the ‘King of Jewish Music,’ Mordechai Ben David, who has been performing to legions of fans for over 5 decades, after which he was the first to be inducted into the Jewish Music Hall of Fame.
