Are these items real? how can we be certain of their authenticity?
In my opinion, I would speak with one’s mashpia first. These items are extremely holy….there are stories about people acquiring personal items of our holy rebbeim. It could even be preferable to get the Rebbe’s own opinion on the matter. But this endeavor of getting the Rebbe’s permission would also entail consulting with one’s own mashpia. In summary, in my humble opinion, this whole thing of buying items that belonged to our Rebbeim is very not pashut.
