The Yeshivah Gedolah of Chulon is now opening its doors with a newly refreshed Hanholo and staff for the upcoming school year of 5779.
The Yeshivah will be under the authority of Rabbi Yochanan Gurary, chief rabbi of Chulon and head Shliach of the area, and his son, Rabbi Dovid Gurary, director of the Mosdos in Chulon.
The senior Rabbi Gurary, under whom the Yeshivah initially opened, has always desired a Yeshivah that should serve as a center of Torah and Chassidus in the city.
After going through a fire and a closure, Rabbi Gurary is is happy to see his dream coming true again for the American and non-American crowd.
Rabbi Zalmen Shimon Springer, who has already served as a Mashpiah and Maggid Shiur in Argentina and New Haven, was hired as the new Menahel.
Rabbi Shlomo Chaim Feldman, forever the pillar of Yeshiva, will continue to be the Rosh Yeshivah, filling the vital role of teaching Nigleh with both class Shiurim and one-on-one learning.
His years of experience and so well renowned friendly and warm attitude, make of Rabbi Feldman one of the most loved Rosh Yeshivas. Along with this, Rabbi Feldman will be giving the Chassidishe Chinuch Bochurim are so thirsty for, with Farbrengens and his unique personal relationship.
Rabbi Springer will also be delivering the main Chassidus Shiur and will be running the Chassidus Sdorim, granting the Bochurim the right guidance to advance in learning and enjoying Pnimius Hatorah.
Seder Halocho will be running under the Rosh Kolel of Chulon, Rabbi Menachem Havlin, who will engage the Talmidim with prepared courses and open before them the world of learning Alibo DeHilchoso, while keeping the focus on practical Halocho L’maase.
The staff will be completed by talented Eltere Bochurim, who will challenge and motivate the Bochurim with their passion and guidance, under the direction of the Hanholo.
“The Yeshivah had its years of glory and we want to re-institute the Chassidishe warm atmosphere every Bochur is looking for, by keeping a strong focus on Hasmodoh and personalized growth in all areas of Yiras Shomaim, Chassidus and Learning”, Rabbi Springer said.
“I am happy to offer the new generation of Tmimim an opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of Torah and Davening, with no disturbances. We are committed to deliver an efficient, responsible and caring Yeshivah, who will be in close contact with the Bochurim and ensure their wellbeing in all sections of a Bochur’s life”, he continued.
“The growth and happiness of every individual Bochur is our motto, and we’ll Bezras Hashem give the Talmidim years of pure and solid life in Tomchei Tmimim. This will surely give the Rebbe tremendous Nachas, one coming from his own ‘Kinder’”.
Detailed curriculum and constant advance in the learning experience, together with Chassidishe Farbrengens, within a strong Hashgocho structure, are going to be the Yeshivah’s main concerns, ensuring a healthy and operating environment for the Bochurim, while keeping a close and personal connection with them.
All this will be taking place in the comfortable grounds of the Yeshivah in Chulon, with a strong attention to every detail concerning all Gashmius accomodations, with a dedicated staff that will ensure the peace of mind of the Bochurim and of their parents.
The building, owned by Chabad of Chulon, is being properly set-up for the upcoming Yeshivah year, includes the Zal, a kitchen with dining room, classroom and offices, a Mikve and is surrounded by a pleasant front and backyard.
“The various Mesivtas around the world have been notified about the new valuable option that opened up for the Bochurim graduating”, says Rabbi Springer, “we are very restricted on the number of Talmidim that we will accept for the upcoming year”, he clarified.
