Choizrim To Test Bochurim

As the Bochurim spend these past few weeks chazering the Sichos, Vaad Hatmimim has announced the details of the Halikut Siyum to be commencing on Yud Alef Shevat.

Taking place at the beautiful Chabad House of Great Neck, NY, the 150 Halikut finalists will convene for a grand test on Likkutei Sichos Cheilek Chof.

The test will be followed by lunch, and a special presentation on the Rebbe’s edits to the Sichos with Rabbi Chaim Shaul Brook of Vaad Hanachos B’LaHak, as well as a session with renowned speaker, Rabbi Mendel Kaplan – Shliach in Toronto, on Delivering a Sicha to a public audience.

The bochurim who scored the Highest mark on the test will then compete on stage, tested by Rabbi Leibel Altein of Chassidus Mevueres, Rabbi Avrohom Gerlitzky of Oholei Torah Yeshiva and Rabbi Leibel Schapiro, the Rosh Yeshiva in Miami. The bochur winning the competition will receive all the Seforim of the Rebbe’s Torah printed by Kehos.

The program will continue with a panel discussion on the behind the scenes of Likkutei Sichos and unique background of Cheilek Chof with the Choizrim and Manichim.

The Siyum and Seudah will then take place in the presence of distinguished Rabonim and Mashpiyim, and will be addressed by Rabbi Yoel Kahn, the Rebbe’s chief Chozer, and Rabbi Leima Wilhelm of Morristown Yeshiva, as well as by one of the Bochurim.

Each Bochur who passed the grand test will then be awarded with a set of Toras Menachem or Sefer Hasichos.
