This Thursday the Beis Chabad Ohel Devorah has hosted the Former Sephardic Chief Rabbi of Israel – Rabbi Shlomo Amar.
Rabbi Amar inspired the listeners and gave Brachot to those who asked. Mr. Mottel Feiglin, President of Beis Chabad Ohel Devorah introduced Rabbi Yoram Ulman, Av Beis Din of Sydney. Rabbi Ulman spoke about the purpose of the visit of the Rishon Letzion in Australia and introduced Rabbi Amar.
Rabbi Amar spoke about the importance of learning Torah and living the Torah. Rabbi Chaim Tzvi Groner spoke about the Rishon Letzion.
Mr. Feiglin showed the Rishon Letzion the Sefer Torah that was saved by his grandfather from a burning Shul who was burned by the Natzim YM’Sh. The Sefer Torah rests in the Beis Chabad Aron Kodesh. Rabbi Amar was very impressed by the way it was kept.
The evening was done in memory of Reb Shmuel Feiglin whose yartzeit is in the upcoming month. It was an inspiring and wonderful evening.
