A successful new transaction has been completed at 600 Crown Street, a retail space planned for the heart of Crown Heights, where Cheeryos Daycare has officially signed a 10-year lease.
The daycare provider, renowned for its exceptional childcare services, will occupy 12,500 square feet of space in the newly developed building, marking a significant step for both the business and the local community.
Representing the property owner, Chaim Drizin of 600 Crown Holdings LLC, Mendel Jacobson of Tri State Commercial facilitated the deal, while Duvy Biller, also of Tri State Commercial, represented the tenant, Cheeryos.
This partnership is a major milestone for both sides, as the space promises to serve as a vibrant hub for families in Crown Heights.

Another CH daycare that only takes people that “qualify” for vouchers?
The people who most need daycare are the 2-income households that often don’t qualify…
Are they planning to run the CH branch as a Lubavitcher moised with a chassidishe chinuch?
What about some middle class families that don’t have vouchers who is helping them ? OUR kids are being turned away or told to match inflated voucher prices .
What am I missing here, what will they be offering the community that Crown Heights doesn’t already have?
Also, I don’t know how comfortable I would be having a fremder run a place that educates my kids considering there are local options where that are Lubavitch run.
Attendance and enrollment is not mandatory. It’s simply a new option
This is nice, but when are the condos/apartments going to be available? Been waiting for so long.
I just heard that most of the apartments are already pre-reserved. Not sure where it’s being advertised. Application details would be nice.
Good to hear! But I never heard of this daycare any info about them?
Does the building still have appartments
listed for sale?
What are the costs?
They are rentals.
They are 1 or 2 bedroom and handful of 3?
Go Chaim Go
Does Cheeryos Daycare come with a bowl of Cheerios?

The community can def use more daycares!
What about our Chabad chassidishe chinuch?
I am sure they will hire a chabad staff do imaprt that lubavitch flavor
Yes. What ABOUT your Chabad chassidishe chinuch? What’s up with that? What exactly is that nowadays? How might you define that? How might your definition differ from your neighbors? How might that differ from whatever Chinuch this place might be offering. (And, by the way) this is a daycare – basically babysitting)
According to what we heard these are all rentals and no sales ! And are very small. I am hoping at least for young couples ! We don’t need more yuppies here ! And a satmar run daycare downstairs. We can do better!!
About time someone service the CH community that wants nice places to live but can’t afford 2M+ to buy…
Can they commit to having a Lubavitcher run the branch to ensure that the values taught are in line with our community values?
Run like a business only? And any options for people who are too rich for vouchers but too poor for everything else?
