28 Kita Alef boys from Cheder Oholey Chinuch Chabad in Buenos Aires, Argentina celebrated their Chumash party this week.
Rabbi Dovid Orbach, first grade Rebbi, welcomed the boys who started the program by singing a Spanish song about Hashem’s creation, followed by Rabbi Pinchas Chein, Principal of the Cheder, giving a beautiful speech explaining to the boys the importance of receiving and studying Chochmas Hashem.
Each boy then came up with his father, and received his Chumash from Rabbi Ariel Chayo, and they learned the first 3 Pesukim of Torah together.

Rabbi Iosi Levy, a father of one of the students, then addressed the children, telling three stories about the Mitteler Rebbe whose birthday, Yortzait and liberation were recently marked.
After a game of “True or False” and a nice slideshow video, the children were addressed by Rabbi Tzvi Grunblatt, Head Shliach of Argentina, who gave a talk with the participation and responses from the students.
After singing a short version of the Nigun Podah B’Sholom, the children each received a Pushka – Tzedakah box as a present and a delicious cupcake decorated with an edible Chumash.
“The event was very meaningful, and it is beautiful to see how the children are learning about Yiddishkeit the way the Rebbe teaches us,” one participant said.
