From the COLlive Inbox:
My dear brother Tzaddik haLevi (Charlie Buttons) has again taken to saying Chassidus in the double arches (Methodist hospital, Park Slope). He is in room number 709A South.
1] If anyone is able to visit him it would be a great mitzvah. Bring him kosher food (that is according to the diet they have put him on – you’ll have to ask him as it is changing almost daily)
2] I find it hard to believe but I am begging people that if they want him at their simchas MAKE CERTAIN he drinks water. This is far too many times he has been taken to emergency for dehydration.
Tzaddik haLevi NEVER thinks about himself. He doesn’t think about drinking on hot days or what happens if/when one doesn’t drink.
PLEASE especially if you enjoy his mitzvahs in bringing simcha and news of the imminent Geula to everywhere, ensure he drinks water when with you.
Please call Methodist and ask to speak with him or even better go and visit. For everyone who has enjoyed his simcha, let’s work together to bring him some simcha!!
Please daven for a complete refua for haChossid haTamim Tzaddik haLevi ben Masha Ruchel.
– Yerachmiel Altman
I heard rumors that his name is tzodoik. Please clarify. Thxs
hie name really fits his character
post ‘TZADIK’ if you agree
His brother said he is 72, and in his 73rd year, so Kapitel 73. He asked people to please say Tehillim for him.
It also struck me that the Rebbe said our mazel is governed by the use of our Hebrew name. So maybe we can all start calling him by his Hebrew name.
For those able please add perek ע”ג 73 to your daily tehillim for his refua!!
As Charlie would say after each segment of the rebbes farberngens. AAAMEIN!
Refuah Shlema to Charlie Buttons and family from Shula and Shmuli Haber from CH. It is always a blessing to see you whether we are riding on the subway, attending a wedding or dancing in the street. We miss you and hope you feel your best soon. It is not the same w/o you. Do you best to Stay hydrated and Hashem will do the rest!!
What a great guy. Feel good!
Get well fast so you can tell us what day of Chanukkah it is!
Missed you at last night’s l’chayim – you’ll just have to show up at the chasuneh.
Refuah Shelayma to Tzaddik HaLevi ben Masha Ruchel aka Charlie Buttons.
Murphy Shul in the morning, Murphy shul by day, I’m gonna go to Murphy Shul, that’s where I’m gonna pray. Murphy, Murphy, Murphy, Murphy Shul, Murphy, Murphy, Murphy, Murphy Shul.
I was in crown heights last week for 24 hours and was running from one errand to the next when Charlie stopped me at EP and Albany. Also if out of my way I took him to lefferts because it was hot. Bh he is back to eating! Refua sheleima
Does anyone know Charlie’s Kapitel please?
May Tzadik HaLevi ben Mashi Rochel have the speediest refuah shlaimah, and may Hashem bless him with koach and an even happier heart (is that possible?) to continue shining his Simcha and holy light of joy and goodness as he’s done for so many people at so many simchas for so long. Yes, a simcha in Crown Heights always feels ‘official’ once Charlie Buttons shows up. May we all show up for him!
He is actually in 7009A south.
To get visitor pass last name is Nassofer.
He can eat regular food but he is sleepy so try not to keep him too long. But he does appreciate the visits even though he has been thru a lot.
