Chanel Lipskier, Director of The Beis Medrash Women’s Circle, is making her famous spelt challah recipe available to all.
Back in December, COLlive reported on Lipskier’s racing through the streets of Crown Heights at 5 am each Friday morning to bake her popular spelt challahs at Lubavitcher Yeshiva’s kitchen along with volunteer Miriam Szokvoski.
The challah, which had the CHK hechsher, was sold fresh and hot every Friday morning at Apple Drugs this winter. But, with the end of winter came the end of the “Chai for Challah” season, Lipskier informed COLlive.
Lipskier does not want to disappoint fans of her famous, whole-spelt, egg-free delight.
For a donation of $50.00 or more to The Beis Medrash in Crown Heights (www.thebeismedrash.com) you can receive your very own copy of the highly coveted, confidential recipe.
“Now you can not only enjoy the challah at your Shabbos meal, you can also fill your house with the smell of freshly baked bread and do the mitzvah of hafrashas challah,” says Lipskier. “Not to mention, you can impress your family and guests with your culinary ability.”
It’s simple: Make your tax-deductible donation here, indicating you wish to purchase the recipe and they will mail you a copy.
