The Jewish people everywhere are on the front lines. We always have been. We always will be. Shluchim across the globe lead the charge of turning the mundane into the holy, brokenness into oneness, darkness into light.
We never stopped standing on the front lines. Only today it’s obvious for all the world to see.
A Shliach, by mission and definition, is on the frontlines of Yiddishkeit, mobilizing on a material or spiritual front to bring the essence of G-dliness to the Jewish people, and, by extension, the nations of the world.
Shluchim across the world are united as one in our global mission to saturate the earth with knowledge of G-d as the waters cover the sea.
As our brothers and sisters fight on the literal front in Eretz Yisroel, we fight on the spiritual fronts across our geographic and demographic worlds. From the hotbeds of college campuses to the hot meals of Shabbos and Yom Tov; from the preschools that inspire the strength of the Jewish people (מפי עוללים ויונקים יסדת עוז) to the Tefillin that calls G-d upon the Jewish people and strikes fear in the hearts of nations (וראו כל עמי הארץ כי שם ה’ נקרא עליך ויראו ממך), every Shliach everywhere stands, lives, and breathes on the front lines.
This call to action, a battle cry that resounds across continents, was established by our Rebbeim. כל היוצא למלחמת בית דוד—each Shliach is the lamplighter, the souldier—anchored in soul—upon whom victory hinges.
And thus, ON THE FRONT LINES is born.
A united message of Chabad Houses across the world on the front lines. Telling the story and a United Front front for supporting the Shluchim on the front lines of Yiddishkeit and the homefront of G-dliness.
Chabad Global Giving Day will be highlighting collective communities as well, such as Chabad USA, Chabad FSU, Chabad of Israel, CTeen Israel and others.
