Chabad Girls Academy recently marked a momentous occasion as they celebrated Yud Shevat, the day commemorating the Histalkus of the Frierdiker Rebbe and the day that the Rebbe accepted the Nesiusa one year later. The event was filled with heartfelt moments, symbolizing the growth that each student accomplished as they prepared for Yud Shevat.
The highlight of the event was the dedication of time by the girls to learning the Basi Legani Maamer. This Maamer served as a guide, teaching our girls and showing them how to transform the world into a beautiful garden for Hashem. To bring this vision to life, the girls participated in planting tulips and daffodils, adorning the school’s front garden with vibrant colors and fragrances.
Adding an extra touch of creativity, the Program Director, Libby Goodfriend, created a beautiful program that showcased the girls’ artistic talents. The atmosphere was transformed into Hashem’s beautiful garden, reflecting the profound lessons learned from the Basi Legani Maamer.
The event catered a delightful lunch for mothers and daughters. Mrs. Henya Shusterman from @frostlikeaboss led an engaging cupcake decoration session, turning simple cupcakes into floral masterpieces. This activity not only showcased creativity but also fostered meaningful connections between mothers and daughters.
Rabbi Yitzchok Dubov graced the event, sharing inspiring stories and encouraging everyone to live with purpose and meaning. The focus of his talk was on making meaningful choices and cultivating a real connection to Hashem through the study of Chassidus. The message resonated deeply, encouraging attendees to embrace a purposeful and meaningful life.
The event concluded with a Grand Raffle, adding an element of excitement for mothers and daughters alike. As a special announcement, Chabad Girls Academy revealed the opening of 3rd and 4th-grade classes for the upcoming 2024-25 academic year.

Chabad Girls Academy is such a special school. The girls get individual attention and a great chinuch. Any girl who is registered here is very fortunate.
Decorating these cupcakes like colorful flowers is perfect for the Basi L’Gani theme. And each one of us is a special blossoming neshama with so much potential.
