On Simchas Torah, during Hakafos in the year 5659 (1898)—just over a year after the establishment of Tomchei Temimim—the Rebbe Rashab made a heartfelt request to the chassidim to support the newly founded Yeshiva.
“I am asking you הושיע נא, and I promise you הצליחה נא,” the Rebbe declared. He assured tremendous Hatzlacha in all areas of life to everyone who supports Tomchei Temimim.
