when i was in netzach aka (idf) i carried my M-4 on shabbos.

I carry every day, and was told to no, even with an eruv.
You have to ask your own rav.

It would be nice to be able to get some follow up on questions in general. This question in particular there is huge difference between muktzah and hotzaah. So please reply to question 1. Another thing, there is also a sevara to say that general people’s non-fear can be wishful thinking, or a non-comprehension of what is at hand too. With an Eruv???

What about in a place with an Eruv? I guess I do not want to know unless it is not a problem since most of “carry” on shabbos.
