It was summer of 1974 when the Rebbe initiated the Neshek campaign. Over eight million candlesticks later, the powerful movement has reached an entire generation of women. They have been given the knowledge and inspiration to usher in the holiness of Shabbos and make the world a brighter place.
Though it’s been forty-five years since its inception, the Neshek Campaign lives on. And this mission isn’t just for the adults, as the Rebbe explained at a farbrengen: “A young girl five or six years old, came to school and told another girl about lighting Shabbos candles…. Because that little girl lit a small candle [ her mother too began to light], which led to her entire family becoming Shabbos-observant…her entire home was transformed!”
Somewhere out there is another little Jewish girl waiting to be recruited. When she is handed that one small candle, when she is shown how to bring everlasting light into this world, she is given a piece of the truth. You or your daughter could be the one to plant the seed of change.
To help bring the Rebbe’s plan to new heights, Tzivos Hashem has assembled Neshek campaign packages which include a candlestick, candles, a matchbox, and instruction pamphlet that are being offered to base commanders at a fifty-percent discount.
In addition, they have teamed up with myShabbosLight.com so that any woman or girl who commits to lighting Shabbos candles will have silver candlesticks delivered to their door. Girls who go out on mivtzoyim and secure a commitment are entered into a raffle to win their own candlestick.
Tzivos Hashem soldiers are fighting the darkness of Golus one candle at a time.
