This summer, seventy girls from around the world gathered in Austria for a unique and unforgettable summer in CCA.
Set against the backdrop of a beautifully renovated and restored palace in the Austrian Alps, CCA teen camp blended incredible traveling experiences with authentic Chassidishkeit and growth.
CCA campers described it as a โOnce in a lifetime experienceโ where every moment was packed with adventure and fun while being infused with purpose and connection to the Rebbe.
As the girls traveled through Europe, visiting Budapest, Prague, Bratislava, Vienna, and Saltzberg, they took a deep dive into the rich Jewish history in each of these areas.
They had the opportunity to hear from the Shluchim in each city and the girls left uplifted and inspired by their stories and dedication to the Rebbe. Reflecting on the summer, one camper recounted how, โHearing the Shluchim talk in each place was my favorite part. We were coming as tourists to Europe and having these crazy fun experiences while the Shluchim actually lived here and weโre working every day!โ
โThe things they said made me appreciate being chabad and gave each place a new meaning. It reminded me that I was a shlucha here too.โ
Beyond the historical and spiritual aspects in each city, the girls got to experience the thrilling adventures and beautiful nature Europe has to offer. Whether it was hiking in the mountains, sailing the Danube, rafting in the alps, exploring ancient salt mines, visiting old Jewish ghettos, or touring colorful European city centers – CCA was jam packed with unforgettable activities.
Campers were treated to a five star itinerary where every day was planned down to the last minute and maximized to the fullest. The girls enjoyed every moment, creating bonds and memories that will last a lifetime. As one camper recounts, โCCA was seriously the funnest camp Iโve ever been too! We weโre always dancing and singing all day and the trips were just insane. Iโve been to camp for a long time but Iโve never had a summer like this.โ
Campers shared how they grew in CCA and the lasting memories they will be taking home and living with; โThe atmosphere was one that was comfortable and filled with energy. Every staff member was always making sure that each girl was having the best time! My favorite part was the Shabbos meals where we just sing and sing and literally couldnโt stop. I also enjoyed how beautiful the campgrounds were- you can see the best sunsets from the castle!โ
โCCA was a summer Iโll never forget!! I grew so much in my Yiddishkeit. I loved the Davening groups and I really see how my connection with Hashem became more real. Also I loved all the staff! They gave us the best time and weโre just genuine and warm and fun!โ
โFor the first time in camp, I felt like Farbrengens werenโt boring, and me and my friends actually wanted to come and be involved. We would even get into deep inspirational convos on the busses. It was really cool.โ
โThis was the best summer of my life! I am telling everyone I know to come here if they want to make amazing friends and see stunning places with directors and staff who really care.โ
CCA was more than just an exotic European teen camp; it was a authentic journey of personal and spiritual growth, leaving the girls with cherished memories and friendships to last a lifetime.
