During Chol Hamoed, Va’ad Talmidei Hatmimim coordinated Mivtzoim for hundreds of bochurim who spread out to areas in Brooklyn and Manhattan to assist Jews in performing the Mitzvah of Lulav and Esrog.
F.R.E.E. – the Chabad Lubavitch Russian immigrant program, in conjunction with Va’ad Talmidei Hatmimim, arranged for bus loads of bochurim from Crown Heights to Brighton Beach each day during Chol Hamoed for Mivtzoim.
Thousands of passersby witnessed the Sukkah Mobile stationed near the Plaza outside the Key Food Supermarket on Neptune Avenue and West 5th, and make a Bracha in the Sukkah. In total over 5,000 Russian Holiday Guides were distributed.
thank you Rabbi Okunov
how nice to see young boys doing mitvtzoyim, but would like to know mokor to give over for a woman to sway lulev and esrog when you are not even sure that she is jewish, even she is jewish,a woman is not m’chiev to do lulev and esrog,
#8 is right, the mokor is Derech Eretz Kodma Latorah.
and #8 can say whatever he freakin wants since he’s not representing The Rebbe, unlike the Bochurim on Mivtzoyim.
You are so worried about shirts being tucked in, how about your language? Using the word “freakin” is not the language the Rebbe would be proud of!
who decided that shirts have to be tucked in? Whats the mokur? If anything for the sake of the tzitzes being kosher it might be easier to keep them kosher if not tucked in!
Great Work
Thank you to all the organizers
Such beautiful achdus seeing the Rebbe’s Moisdois working together…
keep up the great work!
This is very nice
don’t get me wrong, mivtzoim is one of the greatest campaigns the Rebbe initiated, and I really believe that it will hasten the coming of moshiach, but imagine how much more receptive people are when bochurim look, act, and are mentschen. Saw two Bochurim out there early Sunday morning. Really, very impressed. Don’t know who they are/were but they were there bright and early. The Rebbe would be/is very proud.
For coordinating this Mivtzoim initiative
