If you were in London this Chanukah, chances are you spotted an impressive looking Menorah attached to the back of a bike, winding its way throughout the city.
15-year-old Yosef Chaim Liberow crafted this Menorah out of wood completely on his own, with the intention of using it for “pirsumei nisa.”
The lights of Chanukah were spread throughout the British capital as he biked along the streets, handing out Menorahs to Jewish passersby.
Wherever he went cars slowed down to gaze at the strange sight and honked their horns at him to signal their approval. Menorahs were also passed through car windows, reaching out to so many throughout London.
On his bike, Liberow covered areas such as Stamford Hill, Finsbury Park, Highgate, Archway, Golders Green, Finchley, Hampstead, Euston, Kings Cross, Islington, Oxford Street and Baker Street.
Yosef Chaim your ideas and patience to work them through never cease to amaze us. Keep up the work! Love your relatives in the Hill!
