On the first night of Chanukah, at the conclusion of the festival at Chabad of Naples, Florida, Rabbi Fishel Zaklos had a complaint for “Israel’s King of Blues Rock” Lazer Lloyd who provided the entertainment.
“You guys did something very terrible to us, because we’re not going to be able to top this,” the Shliach said. “There were 800 people here and everyone enjoyed it,” Zaklos said.
Lazer was up early the next morning, stopping by WINK CBS to talk about his concert the evening before. During the interview he joked with the host that it was a Chanukah miracle that he was able to get up so early.

Later that day, Lazer performed at Chabad of West Palm Beach. After the concert, Rabbi Yoel Gancz was direct in his praise. “Lazer was spectacular, amazing. This was one of our best events, ever.”
After doing a master class for young musicians at the Coral Springs school of Rock, the fourth night of Chanukah saw Lazer perform at Young Israel of Tampa where Rabbi Uriel Rivkin also had high praise for the musician: “Everyone was elated that you came to join us,” he said.
The 5th night of Chanukah Lazer traveled to Chabad of South Orlando. In the middle of the concert, rain started coming down hard. Lazer kept the show rolling with an acoustic show inside the Chabad house which prompted Rabbi Yosef Konikov to say, “When it started to rain, all the entertainment people ran, they didn’t run for cover, they packed their stuff and ran home, Lazer ran to see how he can continue the party.”
The musician who the JPost called “the best guitarist in Israel” has been busy. In the beginning of December he completed a 10 day, 10 concert tour of the US West Coast and in November he toured Russia, in addition to 2-3 shows per week when he’s in Israel.
