Approximately 40 people gathered at Satellite Beach’s Pelican Park at sunrise to recite the Birchas Hachama.
The blessing was led by Rabbi Zvi Konikov, Director of Chabad of the Space & Treasure Coasts (FL), who explained the significance of this momentous occasion.
Konikov led the rare blessing and then sang Chassidic Niggunin, as customary.
Excitement was in the air at 7:05 am when the sun’s orb was clearly seen rising above the stunning ocean and shining it’s rays upon it.
The service was followed by a Siyum for firstborns as well as burning of the chometz – and of course a delicious breakfast of bagels and lox.
Wow! lookes gourgous 😉
