Bakerie, the artisanal bakery in Crown Heights, is expanding its selection of baked goods and dessert options.
Owners Danny Branover and Menachem Sheinberger have been working to greatly expand the products of the shop on Albany Avenue near Sterling Place, which now offers ready-to-go bakery items, delectable cakes, pastries, cookies, Viennoiserie, bread, and gourmet coffee.
Bakery items include desserts in various sizes – from personal cakes to logs to 9-inch cakes for serving on Shabbos or occasions, and have dairy, non-dairy and flourless options. They also offer a seasonal menu of delicious gourmet coffee blends and a selection of popular sourdough bread.
This week, they announced a new, expanded menu, which includes no less than 11 types of Babkas, such as crunchy white, chocolate nougat, nuts, vanilla almond, cinnamon, crunchy chocolate and more.
They also have available a series of personal desserts, such as panna cottas, mini cheesecakes, and more.
Other offerings include a variety of Rugelach, delectable log cakes of many flavors and types, unique jar desserts, pound cakes and mousse cakes.
They offer 13 types of butter croissants, including the ‘New York croissant,’ a dairy delicacy which is being offered for the first time in the Kosher market, owner Menachem Sheinberger says.
For Shavuos, they will be offering delectable lightweight cheesecakes in various flavors.
“This is just the beginning, we have many more exciting bakery items coming soon,” says Sheinberger.
