oza Hall was packed with smiles on Thursday afternoon of Chanukah as Bais Rivkah students of all ages together with their mothers and grandmothers gathered for a school wide hakhel Chanukah party. The girls enjoyed a variety of crafts, chanukah themed face paint, magnet photo booths and a buffet including popcorn, cotton candy and everyone’s favorite chanukah foods.
In addition, a beautiful Chinese auction was set up at the party boasting 15 incredible prizes. Students had a chance to earn special chanukah dollars over the week in school to be used towards purchasing auction tickets.
The highlight for many was an epic game show led by gameshow-host Chaim Perlowitz of Matching Blast Game Show. Girls were split into teams Bais and Rivkah for a grand game of Memory. Chaim called on girls to answer questions that tested their knowledge on chanukah and Bais Rivkah fun facts.
“I just want to say I was wowed by the Bais Rivkah program today! So generously done and well organized,” wrote one Bais Rivkah mother.
“Thank you for the beautiful Chanukah Party! The activities were great and the game show was excellent. My girls had the best time,” said another grateful parent.
We are so humbled to have had the opportunity to provide our students with an enjoyable yet affordable activity to do over chanukah break without too much stress for the parents.
15 lucky girls walked away from the party with huge prizes and giant smiles.

my girls came home on a high giggling. They had such a fun time! thank you to those who organized the event! please please continue to do such events on days off. Parents are often overwhelmed when the children are home from school and these programs are a lifesaver. Not to mention affordable! -and the kids get to have good structure and toichen to their day. So thank you again. From a very grateful mother!
My daughters and I all had a great time. I was very impressed. The variety of activities was nice, and the atmosphere was fun. It’s not easy to keep varied ages stimulated and entertained but this really worked!
The volunteers who helped with the tickets were helpful and nice.
Thank you!
