Yes, thank you for speaking up! I second what you say. It’s also happened to me quite a few times and it’s just so negligent on the part of the pedestrian. people have to practice more caution. When it comes to jaywalking at night, I’ve been tempted so many times to stop my car and let people know that they truly can barely be seen!!!!!

If you get a ticket, fight it!

Teach your children ( and yourself ) not to walk behind or in front of a car which is parallel parking. I’ve lost track of the number of tmes I have checked my rear view mirror, found it clear, and then someone dashes behind me once I have started to back in – even a very careful driver could be involved in a tragedy, G-d forbid. Also, pedestrians must realize that when it is raining, or snowing, you cannot dash in front of a car counting on the driver to brake – bad weather can cause a car to skid.… Read more »
