Just a mere few hours before the sun set on Chof Daled Teves – marking 200 years since the passing of the Alter Rebbe, 4 new cities had the honor of having the Tanya printed on their soil.
It’s over 2 years since Rabbi Berel and Chana Zaklikofsky established their Chabad Center in Goodyear and felt the need to further infuse the area with spirituality.
Not long before the yartzeit of the founder of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement was marked, they decided to print locally an edition of the Tanya, the “Bible of chassidism.”
Arrangements were made for the printing in Goodyear, and with the permission of Arizona’s Head Shliach Rabbi Zalman Levertov, they printed in the nearby cities as well.
Editions were printed in Goodyear, Avondale, Buckeye and Tolleson, adding them to the map of locations where the Tanya has been printed, that today numbers over 6,000.
In honor of this special day “we just knew that we had to do this basic Mivtzah – that was so precious to the Rebbe,” Rabbi Zaklikofsky said.

Due to the shluchim in Arizona, great progress is being made in terms of Yiddishkite. A big shkoyach to all Arizona shluchim.

A great way to add to the “koch” for 200 years..
