Avrohom Chaim Feldman, a young bochur who was a student at Oholei Torah in Crown Heights, passed away on Thursday, 28 Av, 5776.
He was 13 years old and passed away suddenly while visiting his grandparents’ home in Monsey, NY.
Chaim’ka was a beloved student at Oholei Torah school in Crown Heights, where he completed 7th grade. He recently returned from spending the summer at Yeshivas Kayitz in Westchester, where he was planning on returning for the Yeshiva next year.
“Chaim’ka was one of our finest talmidim,” Rabbi Hershel Lustig, Dean of Oholei Torah told COLlive. “He was a yerei shomayim, a strong learner, had beautiful middos and was a chasidisher young bochur. Chaim’ka always had a smile on his face and was the life of his class. His friends and teachers will sorely miss him,” he said.
His father, Mendel Feldman, is known as the caretaker of Empire Shteible Mikvah in Crown Heights.
He is survived by his parents, Mendel and Kaila Rivkah Feldman and 8 siblings.
He is also survived by his grandparents, Mrs. Rachel Leah Feldman of Philadelphia and Yosef and Bina Shandling of Monsey, NY.
The levaya will take place today, Thursday, passing by 770 at 1:30 pm and then to Old Montefiore cemetery.
The family will be sitting shiva at 29 North Rigaud Rd, Spring Valley, NY 10977.
(Please note: if using Waze for directions, need to make a right turn onto north Riguard from Merrick not a left turn)
To be Menachem Avel Mrs. Kaila Feldman by phone, please send texts to 646-491-2128.

Baruch Dayan Emes. I did not know Avrohom Chaim A”H, but i saw his picture and he looked like such a nice boy. And wow apparently he was the finest of the fine. My heart goes out to the special parents who merited to have such a fine son. May Hashem wipe away your tears and comfort you.
I feel the family’s pain and I hope this will be the final tragedy that Klal Yisrael has to deal with.
MOSHIACH NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
may HaShem comfort you among the mourners of Zion and Yerushalayim
כל עם מתאבלים עליו
Wow wow these tragedies are just beyond normal…most comments above mention the word moshiach. ..this was the Rebbes last and main legacy..bring moshiach..and talk about it publicly this is being squashed for whatever reason. Love evrry jew like he/she is brother/sister and let’s together move ever faster to moshiach in yerushalayim ..end the pain
chaimke you were one of my favorite cousins and i learned alot from you. you had a heart of gold and were a extremely chassidishe bochur i was really proud of you when you accomplished the whole seder moed baal peh and i was amazed how every talucha we would go on you would chazer 1,2,3 masechtas and i will really miss you. we should all take upon ourselves a hachlata so we could bring moshiach NOW!!!!! your neshama should have an aliyah
To the family- I intend to say his kapitel for his aliyas neshama every day that I can. I never met him but something about this touched me- my heart just broke in half and i cannpt imagine how his family feels.

Oy, my heart is breaking as I’m writing this! So absolutely shocking, terribly sad, I am crying! What a beautiful, lichtige, pure boy! How can this be?? WE need moshiach now!!
To his very dear family- may your dearest most precious son, brother, grandson be reunited with you very very soon with moshiach tzidkeinu! You should know of only simchas and Hashem should send you a nechama, my heart is with you!
He was my son’s best friend. They did everything together. They would sit together on school trips. They would walk home each night together from mishnayos shiur. They would speak on walkie talkie. They were always together and such a perfect match. He was the most precious boy. We had just danced at his Bar Mitzvah and him at ours. As my son said tonight he had a heart of gold. I am so heartbroken I can’t stop crying. How can this be? Ad Mosai Aibishter!!! Please have rachmanus and send Moshiach now!!! Please take away the pain! Please comfort… Read more »

Let’s pull ourselves together and give generously to the Feldman family. There is no doubt they are in need. Through our kindness, may Hashem bring us kindness, with Moshiach. See a link to a fund for them in another Collive article above.
Chayimke I will miss you and all the fun we had together in class.May your neshamah have a Aliya and may we merit the coming of Moshiach now.
Mendel Z.
Enough! No more tragedies! Moshiach now!!!

To have completed its tikkun in a mere 13 years. May Hashem comfort his family.
Baruch dayan haemes. Moshiach now! Don’t know what else to say but we are on the brink with so many heilige neshamos getting things underway.
Shocking , a tragedy there is no words..Chaimkeh so speciall his smile and readiness billiant bochur …. a real Chasidish bochur …..we beg Hashem enough…….Ad Mosai???
What an Aidele neshama. Mamosh hevel she’ain Bo chet. Very special parents. So ehrlich and hardworking. May the family find strength somehow
So sad
What a special boy
Hashem should comfort the family and friends and Moshiach should come straight away.
Apparently, in 770 on Shabbos, when they opened the Moshiach sefer Toray to lein, there was a problem with a letter in the pasuk “Your clothing did not wear out upon you, nor did your foot swell these forty years. דשִׂמְלָ֨תְךָ֜ לֹ֤א בָֽלְתָה֙ מֵֽעָלֶ֔יךָ וְרַגְלְךָ֖ לֹ֣א בָצֵ֑קָה זֶ֖ה אַרְבָּעִ֥ים שָׁנָֽה:” and they had to set it aside.
What can be the significance of this? (except teshuva). This problem with the Moshiach sefet Torah on last Shabbos should be made known.
I knew him he was a great person
He was a very special neshoma who had to come here for a short while. He only needed this amount of time to accomplish what he was sent to this world to do as he had done everything else in a previous gilgul. So many baal shem tov stories are about cases like this. The parents have a special zechus to have such a special child. Boruch dayan emes
Even the heavens are crying !!at the levaya now
When Nadav and Avihu died Moshe told Aaron that Hashem is sanctified by those closest to him….Such is the case here….
Words are cheap
Action !
What are we going to DO to stop this terrible gezeirah?
Let us eradicate the terrible Sinas chinom especially between lomdei Torah between those of different Halachic opinions. Different takes on peshat on rishonim or acharonim
Let respect reign supreme and let COL be on the forefront of this
The entire chabad needs to take upon themselves a new mitzva!! Starting with me!!

So many tragedies in a matter of days, there must be a reason. Perhaps it’s the disregard for the rabbonim by defying their forbidding an Eruv.
For all those being mechallel shabbos and disrespecting the Rabbonims decrees please have pity on your fellow jews and do the right thing to stop these tragedies
Very true. Kayla is one of the last young ppl on this planet still without watsapp. She is my role model and inspiration!
This is insane this boy was so nice and kind
Chaimkeh was not a typical boy. He was outstanding in every way!! I cannot thing of even one flaw he had. A neshamah of a tzaddik was snatched away from this world! Talented, smart, chassidish, an amazing Baal Koreh, golden Middos….. I don’t know another boy like this.
so so sad
such a great boy!
may the parents have much nachas from him forever!
Maybe the cheshbon hanefesh needs to begin with the very final words in the last sentence of the announcement
Ad mosai?????

Maybe we need to make more hachlatos tovos ….

I am so terriblely sorry that you have to go through this after losing your father earlier this year, I wish this was all a dream.
I know how dear you held your children and this is most certainly an impossible hill to climb. May G-d give you the strength to pull through and care for your other 8 beautiful children.
