Students of Beis Medrash Oholei Torah in Crown Heights heard an in depth shiur Tuesday night by a guest – Rabbi Meir Elituv of Israel.
Speaking in English, the author of Daatan Alach – commentaries on Gemara Bava Kama, explained various subjects based on a single talk the Rebbe gave on this tractate.
A similar shiur was given later in the Central Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitch Yeshiva in 770 Eastern Parkway to the Israeli speaking “kevutza” bochurim.
Elituv often emphasizes the importance of incorporating the Rebbe’s teachings on Gemara into the daily study in Chabad Yeshivos.
