Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison together with Treasurer Josh Frydenberg, the highest ranking jewish politician in Australia’s history joined Rabbi Gabi and Rebbetzin Mushka Kaltmann at the ARK Centre in Melbourne for a pre-Pesach and Shabbos service.
They both left with Shmurah Matzah.
Frydenyberg is the son of Erika, a Jewish Hungarian born in 1943 who arrived in Australia in 1950 as a stateless child from a refugee camp after escaping from the Holocaust. His father is also Jewish, and emigrated to Australia from Poland. He was educated in Jewish day schools.
