Tehillim and mi’she berech were said outside of his room and his parents were presented with a picture of the Rebbe as well as a sefer tanya, which they placed on their son’s bed.
The soldier, Ben Buchnik, has several siblings studying in Chabad of Ashkelon schools. His sister’s teacher presented a dollar, which she once received from the Rebbe, to his parents.
The family requests that everyone should say tehillim for the recovery of Ben ben Katya, who has regained consciousness but is as yet unable to speak.
