I wish they would watch this in YU.
the discrepancies between the dead sea scrolls and the Tanach pose no difficulty to Yiddin b/c a) many of the differences were already mentioned by Rashi and other commentators and b) the scrolls were written by Jews that were trying to establish an alternative to Rabbinic Judaism and the changes they made were in line with their worldview, not reflecting the Sinai tradition necessarily.
