“Rochel mourns her children.”
Dozens of Jews were surrounded Tuesday by an angry mob of Arabs while praying in Kever Rochel in the outskirts of Bethlehem, south of Jerusalem.
At 5:00pm Israel time, rocks were thrown at Jews that were in the walled enclave which is located within a Muslim cemetery and heavily guarded by the IDF.
The compound was put under lockdown until additional Israeli forces arrived.
“We came for a family simcha but not everyone was able to make it in,” Aliran, a visitor, told the website bhol.co.il.
“Some (members of the) family are stuck somewhere outside and some are inside. There’s around 150 people here and no one can leave or come in,” he reported.
Back-up support came 40 minutes later and the rioters were scared off.
As of this report, no Jew was hurt.
Obviously not random rocks, but carefully prepared ‘haman’ rocks R”L.
What were they angry about? Why do Arabs always seem angry about something to the point of being violent?
