For the fifth year, passengers at JFK Airport in New York enjoyed the use of a Sukkah on Chol Hamoed Sukkos on the way to their flights, organized by Chabad of the Airport.
The Sukkah was greatly appreciated by the hundreds who used it, especially those headed to overseas flights and were preparing not to drink or eat for many hours.
Chabad of the Airport also offered many fellow Jews the opportunity to make a blessing on the Lulav and Esrog. They also welcomed the EL Al personnel into the Sukkah to perform the Mitzvos of Sukkos.
The Sukkah is a project of Chabad of the Airport, which has been dedicated to serving the needs of Jewish travelers at New York’s airports for more than 40 years.
