Agudas Chassidei Chabad, which are the legal owners of 770 Eastern Parkway, has put out a notice regarding the courtyard and property outside of the 770 Shul.
This coming Sunday, January 14, 2024 the front entrance to 770 as well as the courtyard adjacent to 770 will be closed from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. The upstairs Zal will remain open for studies.
This is being done due to the fact that certain individuals have repeatedly organized unauthorized activities during these times.
This area will be blocked off and anyone who accesses the property without authorization will be deemed a trespasser and will be subject to arrest and prosecution.
We ask for everyone’s understanding and full cooperation.

The entire world knows what goes on in 770. All the famous jewish celebrities go there. It’s not some little shtibel on the lower east side. If there’s news, it’s going to be everywhere and all we can do is give some explanation. But it will still be a news story without our involvement
