Adar in Rohr Bais Chaya Academy, Florida means double fun and excitement, and lots of learning too. The school has been infused with Chodesh Adar Simcha through a variety of programs and events.
Due to an accreditation visit by a team of inspectors from the National Board of License and Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch, Adar pranks were placed “on suspension” for the first three days of the month! Yet the happiness obviously permeated the air, as one inspector commented, “As soon as we walked into the school you could feel it was a place you wanted to be.”
The Adar excitement included spontaneous dancing, costumes, a teacher skit, a saran wrapped wall, bubble wrapped floors, classrooms in hallways and cotton ball covered chocolates.
America and Russia went head to head in color war, with the theme of Mesiras Nefesh and the different types of self-sacrifice required in different circumstances.
Production Premiere – Enter the darkened “theater” and make your way down the red carpet: the students were treated to the premiere viewing of “Magic in Malaysia,” The Rohr Bais Chaya Production for 5773! Purchase the production DVD here and save 15% off the retail price.
Chof Hey Adar is being celebrated with a farbreng in North Miami, hosted by the local Shliach, Rabbi Yossi Marlow and with a guest speaker from Chabad of Weston, Rabbi Yisroel Spalter.
Chof Zayin Adar is being internalized in conjunction with 70 Years of Hayom Yom. The school is splitting up the Hayom Yom into sections which will be studied by the girls on Shabbos and shared with their Shabbos guests.
With the theme of, “Don’t Forget the Nossi!”, the Yud Aleph Nissan Hachana will swing into full force on Rosh Chodesh Nissan and ensure that each student individually has the opportunity to prepare for the Rebbe’s Yom Holedes in a meaningful manner.
With Pesach expenses at the forefront, Rohr Bais Chaya would like to help simplify the very complex decision of where your daughter will attend high school next year. We’d love to talk with you about your daughter, and explain how we view our role to bring out the best in every one of our students.
Take advantage of the Pre-Pesach new student discount and sign up before Yud Aleph Nissan and receive $295 off the registration fee upon acceptance.
