American actor and TV host Bob Saget has visited the Agoura Hills, CA, chapter of Friendship Circle, calling it “very close to my heart.”
Accompanied by director Rabbi Eli Laber, Saget toured the facilities and spoke to children with special needs and their volunteer friends.
This partnership “gives them something to look forward to, on a weekly basis and daily basis,” the Jewish stand-up comedian said.
Saget will be the Honorary Grand Marshall at Sunday, March 21, Friendship Walk benefiting these children.
“It’s a very practical human heart to heart share,” he said in a recorded message to supporters. “It gives them a sense of human pride.”
Special thanks to Rabbi Chaim Nochum Cunin for arranging the meeting.
