Crown Heights Vaad Hakohol hosted the newly promoted highest ranking Orthodox Jewish member of the New York City Police Department on Wednesday.
The event hosted Deputy Chief Richard Taylor, and community concerns were discussed. Mostly thanking him for his devotion and attention to all community concerns, and especially for his Crown Heights interest.
Hosting it were Rabbi Chanina Sperlin, Executive Director of Intergovernmental Affairs for the Crown Heights Jewish Community Council, Rabbi Eli Cohen, Executive Director of the Crown Heights Jewish Community Council.
Participating from the NYPD were Sergeant Mike Baratta, 71st Precinct, Deputy Inspector Thomas Smith, Commanding Officer of the 71st Precinct, Deputy Inspector Omar Birchwood, Commanding Officer of the 77th Precinct.
Attending were: Yoily Lefkowitz, Senior Advisor to NY Attorney General Letitia James, Eli Slavin, advisor to Congresswoman Yvette Clarke, Yoily Eisdorfer, Senior Advisor to Mayor Eric Adams, Fred Kreizman, Commissioner at Mayor Eric Adam’s Office, and Rabbi Issac Wertzberger, Askan at the Viener Kehila.







All the activists should get together do something worthwhile and help stop all the new homeless shelters, and psych wards coming to the neighborhood
