this is so far from being a copout. what about all those people who for them this is a big step? who, for them it’s a big deal to publicly announce their belief in Moshiach. There are MANY more like you. My friends and I are looking for ideas as well. We understand that the petition may not reach every Jew- specifically those who do not use internet. This was started as a means to get people involved using a derech they may have not, as of yet, seen used for such purposes.
