The mountains of North Carolina saw an explosion of Torah, Mitzvos, Jewish Pride and insane levels of Simcha at CKids Gan Israel FL located in North Carolina.
High levels of excellence is the only way to describe season five of CKids Gan Israel Florida.
Campgrounds! Staff! Learning! Activities! Playing! Mitzvahs, Mitzvahs and more Mitzvahs!
80 boys, mostly from public school backgrounds, entered camp looking to connect with their Yiddishkeit.
80 campers went home on fire!
Every day of camp saw the reality of the Rebbe’s vision for Gan Yisroel. To create a space where children will live Yiddishkiet 24/7, without distraction from routine home/school life. To infuse the campers with a “Chayus Chassidi”, an energy that envelopes them with the warmth and beauty of Yiddishkeit.
Visitors who spent Shabbos in camp all had the same reflections. “What’s going on here is unreal. The joy and connection displayed by the campers is priceless and more children need this experience.”

Camp ended a few days ago.
Boys are putting on Tefillin, registering for Jewish schools, families are incorporating Shabbos, and the list goes on.
It was a summer of great successes. Much has been done and this is just the tip of the iceberg for getting every Jewish child into a Jewish education.
During the Shabbos meal of the first Shabbos, a camper told his counselor, “I want to go to a Jewish school, but I can’t. I need to go back to public school and get all of my friends to come here.”
