A man who shoplifted from a Crown Heights supermarket on Monday was apprehended on Tuesday on Eastern Parkway.
On Monday, the thief stole from a local supermarket, and a police report was filed and Shmira was notified to look out for the suspect.
The following morning, a member of Shmira who was on patrol located the suspect and recognized him from previous encounters. Shmira was then able to facilitate his arrest by the NYPD. The suspect was apprehended outside of 770 Eastern Parkway.
