Shluchim and Shluchos in Orange County and Long Beach, California assembled for a Melaveh Malkah inspired by the Kinus Hashluchim for the first in a series of events this Hakhel year. Rabbi Binyamin Fajnland, who spearheaded the gathering announced, “During this year we hope to have a series of gatherings to strengthen the achdus between the Shluchim in our area.”
The gathering was held in the newly acquired campus of Chabad of Laguna Niguel. Rabbi Mendy Paltiel welcomed participants and told the miraculous story of how he acquired the building, thanking his fellow Shluchim. “Many of you helped us in an unbelievable fashion, we deeply appreciate the feeling of brotherhood,” Rabbi Paltiel said.
Rabbi Dovid Eliezrie thanked Rabbi Paltiel and his Rebbetzin Kreinie for a beautiful event and said that “the new beautiful building located on a main street in the neighborhood is another jewel in the crown of Chabad institutions in Orange County.” Today there are 18 Chabad Mosdos in Orange County and Long Beach and 33 Shluchim. This includes the mother institution the Hebrew Academy, 15 community Chabad Centers and two Campus Centers.
The new 12,000 square foot building is will be redeveloped in the near future.

I remember him from when I was a boy 🙂 So glad to see the success he’s had! What a beautiful Chabad house; much luck!
Way to go Mendy & Kreinie!
