Avraham Avinu famously hosted many travelers in his tent, which was always open.
In Crown Heights, the home of Reb Moshe Rubashkin is literally converted into Avraham Avinu’s tent every year during the month of Tishrei.
With endless meals and accommodations, and a Sukka quite literally the size of a city block, Reb Moshe Rubashkin has a special place in his heart for each and every one of the guests for Tishrei, The Rebbe’s Guests.
As a community, we must step up to the challenge and help ensure the thousands of guests who come to spend Tishrei in the Rebbe’s Daled Amos are treated with the utmost care and respect.
Appropriately dubbed “Avraham Avinu’s tent of Crown Heights” following the recent passing of his father, Reb Avraham Aaron Rubashkin, Moshe Rubashkin has once again set out to accommodate the record breaking number of Tishrei guests, with this year set to be the largest ever, and we must come together as a community to help make this a true triumph for our community.
