Over 35 counselors and campers from CGI Florida were booked on a flight to NY from Orlando on Monday afternoon and their flight got cancelled.
They were able to get them a flight early on Tuesday morning from the Jacksonville International Airport.
Camp director Rabbi Yossie Biston contacted the local Shluchim Rabbi Yossie and Rivkie Kahanov, to see if they could host the group for the night.
The Kahanovs, along with with their son Velvil Kahanov, went into action to arrange food and sleeping arrangements for everyone.
Once the campers and counselors arrived in Jacksonville, they joined for a Minyan Maariv and then enjoyed a meal. They found themselves being well taken care of thanks to the selfless care of the Shluchim.

Thank you Rabbi Novack!
