Hundreds of residents of Monsey, NY, participated on Sunday in a Kinus and Farbrengen to mark 120 years of the birthday of the Rebbe, organized by Rabbi Dovid Weber, Shliach and Rov of Beis Menachem of Pomona, NY and by Rabbi Dudi Farkash, of Chabad of Olympia, Monsey, NY.
The event opened with an hour of learning the Rebbe’s Torah, followed by a very lively Chasidic Farbrengen, which lasted until the wee hours of the morning.
The event was beautifully MC’d by Rabbi Farkash, who inspired participants with words about the Rebbe, who is with the Chasidim, and how we are fortunate to be Chasidim.
During the event, prominent Rabbonim spoke, including Rabbi Dovid Dubov – shliach in Princeton, NJ and author of many seforim of the works of Rabbi Levi Yitzchok Schneerson, the Rebbe’s father.
The guest of honor was Rabbi Yosef Chaim Cantor, Shliach in Thailand and the founder of Vaad Hakashrus of Bangkok. Rabbi Cantor inspired the crowd, saying that the success of the Shluchim worldwide is due to the Rebbe, the meshaleiach. Rabbi Cantor mesmerized the crowd and encouraged participants to give matanos to the Rebbe in honor of his birthday.
The event was organized by the students of Central Tomchei Temimim 770, led by hatomim Moshe Chaim Weber.
