Take part in an effort to renovate a Shul in Lod after being damaged by Arab mob.
Shaare Aliyah Synagogue is a vast spiritual center for the Russian immigrant community. Throughout the years many of the 20,000 Russian-speaking Jews of Lod and the area have been members of the congregation.
The center is led by Rabbi Avraham Hazan who is the Rebbe’s Shaliach and the community rabbi. The center hold a variety of activities – Shabbat and holiday dinners, a soup kitchen for the needy and disabled, assistance for all needs, and more.
This week Erez Hakodesh was shocked to hear about the defilement of the synagogue by Arab rioters who threw rocks and spread much destruction.
The congregants and community members are heavily shocked. Rabbi Hazan has decided to launch a crowdfunding campaign, to renovate the synagogue and erase the disgrace, to return the grandeur and beauty of the House of G-d.
