As Americans head to the polls in record numbers to select one individual to the world’s most prominent and contentious position, a new film by JEM presents the Rebbe’s take on US presidential elections.
Notably, the Rebbe addresses the transformation that must occur within the victor, and how he must pivot from “campaign mode” – rallying and exciting his supporters – to “presidential mode,” where he must represent the needs of every citizen in the country.
A similar transformation must occur in the populous, the Rebbe explains. After a spirited (and sometimes divisive) process, once the majority speaks, the decision belongs to all the people, and they must pull together to propel the country forward.

As pointed out in the article, the Rebbe said the victor must pivot from campaign mode to presidential mode. Wow! This exactly describes what our current president NEVER did – he was campaigning every single day in office for his hopeful second term. His entire presidency was one long campaign!
…maybe that’s because since he was elected, his opponents have been styling themselves as “the resistance” and inventing all kinds of lies to stymie him? You know, it used to be accepted that the losing side in an election accepts it, but the Democrat party has never done that since 2016.
Maybe his presidency seems so similar to his campaign because he actually keeps his campaign promises unlike all other politicians.
thank you good point
