Women of Crown Heights were re-educated about many basic Shabbos halachos. Halachos pertaining to muktzah, borer and cooking were brought to life through several Crown Heights rabbanim. Real life examples reminded these busy ladies how to properly sanctify and keep Shabbos.
“There were so many things that I learned in seminary but with so much time since, I am embarrassed to admit that I forgot so many halachos. This series allowed me to relearn the fundamentals and be reminded of the basics. I feel re-educated and confident now to do the right think without any doubts nudging my brain,” said Mrs. A.
Tonight, the highlight of the four-part series, “Shabbos from a Chassidic Perspective”, will be taught by the renowned Rabbi Levi Garelik.
The series will culminate with the drawing of a Rebbe dollar which will include all those who participated in all 4 parts.
